Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist and philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law is internationally recognized for her work and accomplishments in the international law of human rights. Clients include a number of high-profile nation-states, including Armenia and the struggle it has to have the Turkish Government recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney became engaged in 2014 and later married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household word. Years before this though she was well-known and respected in legal circles as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients with skill and the success they have achieved. From tackling human and social rights and representing multinational corporations in their court actions and negotiations concerning the regulations of government. She is now a barrister, which is the name given to a lawyer in British courts.
