Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December, 1991. The parents of Matthew Matt James include Manny James, and Patty James. He has a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mother. In 2010 he graduated at Sanderson High School and furthered into Wake Forest University where he received a Bachelor's degree from Economics in 2015. James gained fame when he appeared on The Bachelorette as a reality television star. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in the year 2021. The next Bachelor was James who was his first African American to play the main part. James' fit was perfect for the part because he has an appealing, well-rounded, and large-bodied personality. Rachael Krokconnell was the winner by allowing James to establish an intimate relationship with her. He joined forces with famous dancer Arnold in 2021 to compete in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th.
